Piet Smit

After being part of the Corporate Business World for almost 30 years, Piet joined Performance Development Interactive in 2009 as Financial and Operations Director.   

His experience includes Management and Leadership Development, Leadership and Business Consulting, Sales Innovation, Learning Development and Learning Management. 

With a B.Com Degree in Industrial Psychology, Piet has researched, designed, developed and facilitated learning interventions which covered personal, inter-personal, sales, practice management, performance management, communication, financial planning and various other professional skills.  He has designed and facilitated high-level Leadership Development Programmes and his personal experience and knowledge around the subject of change, makes him a real authority on this subject. 

Since joining Performance Development Interactive, he has played a significant role in the company's Optimum Performance Development Interventions and created a system of total immersion that produces the education, strategies and momentum for measurable and lasting change.

In 2012, under his expert guidance, he launched the company's unique Optimum Performance Youth Leadership Development Boot Camp Academy.  This programme focusses on the development and leadership of young individuals between the ages of 16 and 21.
